How many Boingerati DON'T have a '99?

Me; never owned one but shot a few, fettled and unfettled. Very nice, all of them, but I have a Walther Terrus, which shoots equally as nice, so never had the urge to change one for t'other.

On the few occasions that I've shot a Terrus they've never failed to impress.

When I picked up my 99 the other day I was torn 50/50 between the Terrus and the 99. I put a few pellets through more than one 99 and found a lovely non twangy one in .22. I also tried one Terrus which shot absolutely beautifully. I have one added to my mental list for the future for sure.

I don't have a 99 Tone, but I have three old school HW50s.

I don't like the back block arrangement on the 99 and the cocking linkage geometry on them is a load of old bollocks.

I think you can be excused for not having a flaky one with you having the three old school 50s, stacks of other HWs and a massive collection of other assorted lovelies too!
