    Hw set back trigger !

Hi all, I’m thinking about a setback trigger for my HW 80, I have been looking at the one by rowen engineering, however I have been advised that there is a lot of play side to side in them! Don’t know if this is correct or not? Anyone know of any other companies that do a really good set back blade?..

    Dave,

Of the five (5) Rowan Engineering Extra set-back trigger blades I have in my HW springers, none has been any more 'wobbly' than the standard HW trigger blade.

In fact, as the pin is a much closer fit in the Rowan blades, they 'wobble' less.

If needed, you can use some M2 washers either side of the blade to take up any slack.

Have fun & a good Sunday

    Best regards

    Russ

Thanks for the reply, wanted to hear it from people have bought them themselves rather than the gun shop which will remain nameless, that told me they were rubbish and they were all wobbly!

    Cheers. Dave

    Dave,

I think the shop is speaking with forked tongue !

All the Rowan products I have bought (Extra setback trigger's for my HWs, adjustable trigger for TX200, TX200 cocking lever grip) have been spot on, quality products

Their service is very speedy too

Have fun & a good Sunady

    Best regards

    Russ

I have had a few Rowan triggers, as well as other bits. Super quality, great service.

    They are definitely not rubbish!

Pinch salt of salt required with the shop's 'opinion' me thinks!

I made a brass trigger for my HW80 and it had a slight side wobble so i used the tiny red fibre washers you get with the dremel that sit each side of the cutting disk, they should work if you get a lose trigger.

Rowan triggers are expensive but the quality is first class, buy with absolute confidence and enjoy your new purchase.

I've used Rowan triggers on three of my Weihrauchs & they've been superb, no noticeable play in them.

That's pretty much what I was going to say 👍

I've had a few triggers from Rowan and, they've all been top quality.
I've also been to their premises and met them - top blokes. I'm sure they'd sort you out properly if you felt there was an issue with any of their kit.
    ...... Buy with confidence 👍

    All of the above.

Going back a few years, I found the Venom set back on a standard stocked 80 made the reach too short but the same trigger on my standard stocked 85 was near enough reach perfect.
