hiya Mate,
have been around guns for a while and I had a Richter Optic 2x9x50 on HW 77K it was a nice clear scope,

first step is to set up your reticles\cross hairs using the focus ring at the eyeball end of your scope loosen the locking ring if it has one, then look at a clear piece
of the sky and turn the adjuster ring until the reticle is in sharp focus, I say sky because the reticle needs to be set on infinity not your target or a handy
door,

lock the adjuster with the locking ring, you don't need to touch this again,
set up a target at the distance it will be most used at (35 yds maximum) set your magnification to max, fire five rounds at a time to obtain your group\where most of your pellets hit,
practise this until your groups are close together, don't try and control a springer or grip it tight relax hold lightly and let the gun do the work,
having fired remain in the aim until you see your pellet strike this is called follow through and it is important to do this,
having gained a good group move the group by using the scope adjusters at the top and side, at first move one only until you are a bit more flash,
once your group is taking out the bull adjust the magnification until you have a clear crisp focus on your target,

There ya go sniper of a chap,

Cheers have fun.
