I wanna be the airgunbbs Model
Is it 12 or 6 fpe?
In other words; is it the FT or 10m version?
Is it the barley twist barrel?
I’d say around £650-£800 max
Put on heading 270, assume attack formation
12ftlbs
how do I check if it is a barley twist?
I wanna be the airgunbbs Model
The barrel will have a visible ridge externally twisting along the length.
Very sought after - I would 600 - 800 is under valuing it if in good condition, especially if it’s the black and yellow model.
If it is in good condition and just needs a total service I would say £750 to £900.
The original hammer forged barrels seem to have gained almost legendary status these days, they were always stunningly accurate, but took loads of wind... which many Steyr's still do.
You can tell the original barrel as they are stainless steel and as Charub says they have a series of spiral ridges down their entire length.
