Sure looks like the eliminator from the inletting on the forearm! What about the trigger area...with the big hole? Is that for a pull safety outside the trigger guard. I had a Sirocco Grand Prix that had that safety.

I have been on a hunt for a stock for my SLR98 and found an ad on flea bay which is the topic of this thread. The owner of the stock told me it was not for a SLR88 (he has one) but wasn't sure what model his stock was for. HE also mentioned he had tyrolean SLR88 stock but left handed that he wanted to sell. In the same email he said he bought an Eliminator stock and it fitted his SLR98 like a glove! Possible? So, that is the background of this thread. Guy, i checked this new ad but the new pics were not up. The one pic he used certainly looks like the unknown stock. Interesting....if it was freeads ...wouldn't be interested!

Isn’t the large hole at the front of the trigger guard that that locates the boss in the action for the front screw? Hence it looks like a break barrel stock to me.
    Regards,
    Dave.
