If I repealed a scope to 10 yards, what will the implications be out to 25yards, also, if this does throw up any issues, can these be mitigated by buying a scope with a smaller or larger objective lens, or body tube?

Just tried it for you real world with a fixed 4x32ao set at 30 feet. The image is as you would expect, blurred at 20 yards and mightily blurred beyond with a maximum perceived parallax shift of approximately an inch at 20 yards.

This is with a 1" tubed Vantage with 32mm objective, with a 40mm objective the parallax shift would be worse and I don't believe a 30mm tube would make any difference.
