Sussex Interclub HFT 2019 - Round 6 results

Hi All

The ‘magic’ Round (6), which if you’ve shot all of them means you have a qualifying total for the year and will start to drop your lowest %age when we meet again at Ford in a fortnight, was hosted by Mile Oak today.

Tricky day, especially on the hill where the wind blew – or not – a very variable amount and caught plenty of us out. Specially me and Simmmo

The woods targets (2/3rds of the total) were not entirely breeze free either

Amazing shooting from Dibbens and Connor and indeed anyone in the upper half of the 50s. Good to see some new faces joining the SIHFT too and some of our newer people earning their first badges. Well done all.

Happy shooting wherever you are until SIHFT Round 7 on 11th August, when we return to the concrete and leafy groves at Ford Ranges to a combination of SIHFT and a round of the Ford HFT Summer Open. Not quite the usual plethora of events between now and then, but on Sunday 4th there is an Open HFT at Buxted and on Saturday an open invite by Charles and the Oaks crew to join a friendly comp where we were today.

That's not the case for you, Russ. The rule says you cannot have your score count toward another club's team IF in any earlier round of the year you had been in the team of the club you have moved away from.

Unless I'm not looking in the right place, you have only shot in one earlier round this year, in recoiling class, and did not feature in the Buxted team in that round.

I will be updating both yesterday's results posting and the year-to-date individual table tomorrow evening.
