I've been a back yard plinker with pistols for 30+ years and I'm interested in getting out of the garden. I'll be investigating buying a rifle and taking part in FT and HFT events in and around the Southwest. Perhaps I'll meet some of you in person on the range.

I'm rather taken with the BSA Lightening gas ram rifles. I think I could justify buying one of those initially and as I progress with the hobby look at a PCP later on.
