RESULTS: Horsham Hawks Summer Open Series 2019 – Round Three Results – 18.8.19

    Hi Everyone,

First of all, sorry about the weather. Torrential rain for most of the morning, which wasn't forecast and caught most of us unaware and unprepared. A soaking for everyone. Ghastly!

Nevertheless, well done to everyone and very many thanks to those who turned up for the third round of the Horsham Hawks 2019 Summer Open Series. Congratulations to the top shooters and to everyone who managed to keep smiling.....

The date of the final round for your diaries, cell phones, laptops or ipads is:-

    - round 4 - Sunday 20th October 2019

Please find below, the results published in the usual format. Any errors are mine alone. If you would be kind enough to ‘ping me’ a note, I will make any necessary corrections. A spreadsheet of the scores so far, is available on our club website at https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/003ef...b8257d4e9d.pdf

Starting on peg 13 turned out the be the perfect distance away from the field, the sun came just as we walked through the gate to peg 1

Well done to all the winners today with the Friends duo taking 1st in open and junior.

Thanks to Phil and fellow Hawkies for a top quality course, enjoyed it a lot.

    Sub tropical monsoon

Thank goodness for modern waterproof technology. When it got to the stage that not only could we not read the score cards anymore but the paper was so wet the pen wouldn't write David West came to the rescue with his phone to record the scores.
Lol I had you about right when we got into the woods with heavy rain drops pouring through the trees.
Rod, top bombing with that dayglo TX. A pleasure to shoot with you and David in trying conditions, although I think we may have had the best of the weather in the field.
Thanks Hawkies for another good course, some challenging targets without the weather.

Enjoyed my visit (apart from the weather and lack of wet weather gear). Course was very enjoyable.
Will come again next time I get a chance but will bring waterproofs just in case.
    Thanks for letting me shoot.
