Exclamation Sussex Interclub HFT 2019 - Round 10 results

    Hiya

And so we all (well, all 50 of us – was it the forecast which put others off?) met at Buxted for the final competitive SIHFT round of 2019.

Simmmo and his mates had clearly brushed up their range trap skills and the average %age of this round – even allowing for the confusing breeze – was among the lowest of the year. Hopes for a rash of Round 10 Gold badges were dashed, while lots of muttering as well as the odd hint of blasphemy could be heard all round the course. Graeme C seemed unusually quiet – no surprise considering his 58. Excellent result, Cargs and everyone (but not many) in the middle to upper 50s.

Anyway, here is the full set of results …..

Please let me know a.s.a.p. if you spot anything above you think is amiss.

I will post the finished edition of the individual Class tables asap. Today’s results have resulted in quite a few moves – both up and down the leaderboard - in the Open class. Watch this space, and/or pay our Facebook page a visit for a much easier to read version of the tables.

Prize drawer winners today were :
    • Gary Channing – the £50 cash prize, and
    • Matt Franks (birthday boy) – the Air Arms goody bag - and Richard collected his carefully held-in-storage Goody Bag win from Round 9

Team scores today and the year-to-date points, this time in Cumulative Points order, are ..

    Club Round 10 Cumulative Points
    Buxted 265 118
    Oaks 259 100
    Meon Valley 171 92
    Ford 223 81
    Horsham 181 79
    Swallows 237 76
    Iden Fern 244 70
    Maldon 0 63
    Bisley 214 48

Yet again, a whole bunch of teams needed to draw card from the lucky dip – Bisley, Iden Fern and Meon (3 max each), Ford (1) and Horsham (2). Only Buxted, Mile Oak and Swallows managed to field at least 5 entries.

Big congratulations to Buxted for yet another SIHFT Team Trophy win

As reported after Round 9, our next gathering is the end-of-year trophy awards and ‘fun’ comp at Swallows FTC in 3 weeks on the 27th October. Between now and then, on Sunday the 13th there is an Open HFT at Ford with Richard and the gang. The final round of the UKAHFT (at Quarry) is on the 20th, the same day as the Horsham Summer HFT Open for those not tempted to try the trip to Wales.

Should you be aware of any other events of interest, please let us know.
