10 metre Archery on club ranges?

I have noticed some 10 meter archery targets for sale and just happen to have a new archery butt that I have taken down to our RMTC club where we have an unused "lane" on the end of our shooting bench where we could have an occasional "arch"

It turns out that target archery is not exactly unknown to many target airgun shooters and I was wondering if any other target airgun clubs have facility to include 10 meter archery?

    Maybe Dave,

....but the regular archery targets are huge and the 10 meter targets are smaller, so if they are "scaled" (like the NSRA 6 yard to 10 meter targets etc) it could be a worthwhile challenge?

I would guess that the chances of splitting an arrow are increased with such a small bull area, so it could be an expensive option for a top shot

We have not tried it yet so maybe your suspicions are right and it is just too easy - we will have to "give it a try" and see if it is worth bothering with.

Ive got a spare packet of Polo mints if you run short of targets.

Have you tried 10m spear throwing?

    Archery

Most Archery clubs move into an indoor hall in the winter, usally a school.
Usually 20M or as near as possible
At 10M the arrow would barely have chance to stabilize
I am only speakinging through my own experience,
I am a Master Bowman with a compound + Recurve Bow

You probably didn't understand it the first time

.....but you are usually taken to the same place twice - the second time is to apologise for the first time

There are a few "Masters" of various disciplines around, I have heard it said that IJ is a "master baker" - or at least that what I think they said...

Are you interested in a mint red Hoyt Super-Tec with XT2000 carbon limbs by any chance?

Glevum have a 20m range but each shooting discipline has a different evening- match, sporter, black powder, .22, archery etc. We have 8(?) lanes but all devoted to one discipline at a time.

I have just taken some pictures today of the Hoyt Mick - if you let me have your email address I can send them to you to see.

As a matter of interest - I had no plans to shoot this compound at 10 meters - and I have now swopped it for a lovely tuned .177 walnut AA TX200 that will definitely get a lot more use than my compound bow ever did!
