HRPC Sunday 20th results
The HFT Gods must be smiling on us because yet again it was a dry shoot. We’ve been wrecking our brains and honestly can’t remember the last time is actually rained on us.
A nice tricky course today with lots of range traps and awkward targets. A little bit of a breeze and all set for a good mornings shooting. As there was plenty of help to set up It was a simple case of me walking down the shooting line, pointing out the available targets and letting people decide which one they wanted. A different course every time and nobody can learn it, seems to work quite well. anyway.
Congratulations to Steve West, well on form today and equalled his PB with a really impressive 56 and to young Ethan, first time out and a really good score, especially considering he was using one of the club’s rifles and had never shot outdoors before today. Taking peg 29 kneeling was impressive enough but to actually kill it and then say it was just luck was superb (he’s 11 by the way).
Our internal competition couldn’t be closer with Peter Fenn and Steve west now tied on 52.6, with four rounds to go it looks like this year going down to the wire.

Any way to cut things short here are the scores
