    Duggleby Stephenson.

Walnut Tyro CS stock, which appears to my inexpert eye to be similar to a Venom mid-80s “Sporter” pattern.

    Venom style silencer.

Surprised the rear sight is still fitted, if it was a Venom gun.

No visible sticker or provenance in the auction listing.

Whether real genuine actual Venom or not, definitely a nice special Omega. If I lived close, I’d go and check it out in person.

    Omega

It's a venom omega from around 1985. Would I buy it? Of course it's a Venom. Mach 1.5

Possibly but I expect it will go for more. Then add on about 20% buyer's premium plus, if you buying on line, an extra 3% or so for that service plus transport costs to collect, or postage to your RFD (about £25?) plus the RFD fee of maybe £25 and the costs start to add up. For example: £400 auction sale + 23% = £492 plus postage = £517 + RFD fee = £542.
    So take care.
Pity I do not live in York ....

Sacrilege maybe, but perhaps selling the rear sight could help recoup costs to an extent?.

I wouldn’t have said it was sacrilege, as already mentioned I can’t see how that rear sight would have been left on if it’s a genuine Venom apart from being completely redundant it looks obviously odd. Every Venom Omega I’ve ever seen has had the rear sight replaced with the little Webley name plate. I’ll hold my hand up if I’m wrong about this.

Secondly the rear sight is probably worth about £15, so it’d hardly scratch it. It’s the Omega front sight that’s the rare one.

    Cheers
    Greg

    Omega

My venom omega has the webley plate fitted. Cannot see why this one has a rearsight? Anyway whoever buys it, sell the rearsight and buy some old eley wasps and enjoy it. Mach 1.5

Unless of course it’s a standard action in a Venom stock. Is there anything in the pictures to indicate Venom work on the action?
