75 gr in 243

Hi all would any one have load data for 75gr Hornaday VMAX using VV N135? In .243 Winchester

Hornady 8th edition lists Viht 135 for one bullet only, the 58gn V Max.

All bullets from 65 to 87 gn list Viht 140 as their fastest powder,

bullets above 87gn list Viht 160.

Hope that's of some use.

edit: just located last years Viht manual - not same bullet so usual care warnings apply!
Viht manual 2018 for 77gn Lapua bullet lists 30.7gn start load to a max 35.8gn 23'' barrel, 67mm COL, speeds c.2805-3176

I have a couple of old but very reliable reloading manuals that show that Vihtorvori used to have max charge of 39.4 grains of Vit n135 behind a 75 grn bullet giving 3144 fps - and 40.5 behind a 70 grn pill giving a MV of 3310 fps.

in recent years, Vihtorvori have dropped their charge weights by over 10% with a lot of their powders.
some of the bottom charge weights are ridiculously low.

Also - from experience Vit n140 would be a better choice
