Well that was a great day out.
Not only did we get the chance to shoot a quality course, we also got looked after by the crowd at the Red Lion pub, who fed and watered us for our annual Xmas dinner and piss up.
Big thank you to Briggitte Vant, Jean Greatrex, John Mode and Steve Edmondson for all their hard work at the club throughout the year.
A bitter wind wound its way through the thinning Autumn woodland, causing all sorts of havoc. On many an occasion words such as "I can't believe how much wind that just took!" could be heard from down the firing line. There was no rain, which was a bonus, but it started to feel a little bit like Winter had arrived.
Richie Bailey was solid, after fitting a new scope, Chris Theodoulou proved that He's the king of the shoot off (again) and Jo Cogger took the coveted Ladies gold medal , a tough thing, given the company.
