HELP! Posting Rifle to USA

Morning all,

I'm selling a rifle on the sale pages and have received an enquiry from the States, wanting to know about posting it across the water.

Does anyone have any experience of doing this?

Yep
Take it to the Post Office. You will meet a jobsworth. tell them you're shipping a package to the USA.

They will give you an AWB to fill out.

"Sub 12ft/lb air rifle. Confirmed by DTI classified as sporting goods in UK and USA, no export license required"

Hand it back - it's stopped her argument before it starts and off you go.

Expect to pay between £50 and £75
