17 rem 20 grain vmax load data

Hi All

am looking for some load data for 17 rem vhit n135 powder with a 20gn v-max and a 25 gn v-max

Hi Del. N135 or N133 is a good choice of powder.

Personally , I would opt for the 25 grn Vmax over the 20 grn pill every time, especially if foxing with it.

Your likely to find an accuracy node with N135 between 21.5 - 22.5grn behind the 25grn Vmax.

In my last 17 rem, the lower charge gave velocities just shy of 3900fps and was very sweet to shoot.

The upper load gave around the 4050fps with no pressure signs and superb accuracy.

I would work up in 0.2 grn - Pressure can spike quickly with this little cal.

thanks for the info am waiting on my 25gn heads to arrive so av just made up some 20gn v-max with 20gn of n135 just to site my scope in and have a play one thing i will be looking for is a powder funnel as the lee one i have the neck of the brass just goes through the hole you got any recomendations
