Just when I thought I was getting some half decent results with the Diana 24 I've shot 3 poor cards for March. So much so that Ive left it there for the moment.
Ive since tried some practice cards with an Original Model 24 and a Model 27 and have had much better results. Pondering my next move but Im thinking I should have had a small Diana giant test and picked the winner before I kicked things off in the comp!

    Drew,

I would not worry to much.

If I worried about the lowly state of my scores I would have given up shooting years ago

For me, I enjoy the shooting ; a good score is a bonus, but not essential to the enjoyment

Have fun & a good weekend

    Best regards

    Rob,

They are a beautiful rifle to shoot

When you pull the trigger on an FWB300, you know something has happened - twang of the spring, motion of the sledge : you don't feel anything however, which is a bit spooky.

The first times you fire a Diana 'Giss' rifle, there is nothing - some slight sound, but that is it - very, very inert - you sort of wonder if you have pulled the trigger or not

Ah well, I will have to take up knitting again now you have got the '75

Have fun & a good Sunday

    Best regards

    Russ

P.S. I cannot believe the panic buying here in Hastings - the queue at Sainsbury's yesterday five minutes before opening at 07:00 hrs., was already 300+ meters long; the local butcher was sold out by 10:00 hrs., and the local veg shop similarly

This panicking is insanity, my wife has gone to the local co op, its a 5 minute walk, she's been gone half an hour & she only went for a Sunday paper !

    Rob,

    Yup

We were lucky in that we have a small row of shops in the road where I live.

    Now :

    1) Butcher - stripped bare - now closed until Tuesday

    2) Veg Shop - stripped bare - now closed until Tuesday

    3) Pharmacy - no analgesics left, patent medicines stripped bare - now closed until Tuesday, and now will only be open two hours per day

    4) Cafe - still open, but will supply food to take away only.

    5) Corner shop - still open, still got everything

Have fun & a good Sunday

    Best regards

    Russ
