4 mins in an lots of close ups of the people’s faces, and one short close up of the rifle. I’m done.

Not into modern marketing, someone post some close ups of the rifle please!!!!
    Thanks - Geoff.

Ok, it's not a break barrel but that will not be commercially viable so we will have to get over it and move on.

I watched the first couple of minutes and saw plenty of the rifle to be able to tell that if FT was my thing it looks v.nice. (and that I probably can't afford one &#128513

So I applaud a British company for producing a fine looking rifle that if it shoots anywhere near as good as it looks should be excellent. I wish them every sales success in domestic and export markets. Well done Air Arms!

I’m surprised that they didn’t bring out a new flagship HFT rig - surely that would be a larger target audience. Or will one be developed off the back of this one?

Bin the rail, drop it in a different stock, snip snip and bobs your auntie.

Its all to do with marketing. Overall, FT has a bigger following globally

And, don't worry there'll be an HFT version along as well.

    And an Alutec version.

And all the major components available separately, action only if you want.

I will wait for a year until they get the customer to sort out any teething and development problems.

I emailed Air Arms owner Claire West at Air Arms earlier this evening with some of the questions that are being asked across the 3 main shooting forums.

Claire is over in L.A. at the Shot Show but still managed to get back to me in just over an hour – what a star!

The questions & answers are below exactly as asked/answered.

Will the stock be re-designed for the HFT version? CHANGES WILL BE MADE TO THE STOCK, TO ENSURE IT IS COMPATIBLE FOR THE HFT DISCIPLINE.

Will an alutec style stock be offered? YES, BUT NOT UNTIL NEXT YEAR.

Will there be an option to buy an action on its own? YES

When is the FT version expected to go into production & be released? NOT YET KNOWN. WE ARE STILL UNDERTAKING PROTOTYPE TESTING. IF ALL GOES TO PLAN IT WILL HOPEFULLY BE LATER THIS YEAR.

What are the expected RRP's expected to be for each version? NOT YET KNOWN BUT WE EXPECT IT TO BE IN THE REGION OF £2k plus.

Can I have an HFT version to field test - I would need it for at least 15 years to be thorough? LOL, THE ACTIONS WILL BE THE SAME FOR HFT AND FT, WHICH ARE CURRENTLY BEING FIELD TESTED AS WE SPEAK.

Well, the answer to the last question wasn’t no but I’ll not hold my breath!
