i am thinking of getting my mfr changed from 22 to 177 from ben taylor but apart from the magazine barrel and other odd things can i still keep the 22 buddy bottles when its changed over or will i have to change them as well thanks

this is the reply i got from ben when i asked him about changing my .177 to eather .20 or .22. no mention of changing bottle.

The cost to change calibre is £198.50 plus carriage this includes a
magazine, barrel, probe and labour plus a reg upgrade.

sorry to gate crash the topic , but seeing as you are mfr owners....could you please tell me what combos you have in use with this rifle....(i.e. scopes...cause ive been informed that many scopes wont fit without the use of raisers...is this true).

Swamphippy - it's true - some scopes that would fit an ordinary Rapid will not fit an MFR without risers. I have a Bushnell Legend with a 40mm objective and P/A ring and that just clears. If you don't have P/A then you might get away with a 42mm objective. It's one of the lesser known downsides of the MFR unless you happen to prefer high mounts.
