I’m loosely considering a “45” again after owning a 177 Silver Star some years ago.
I sold the said pistol really because I wasn’t using it at the time and somehow I didn’t quite gel with it although it was very well made, shot well enough and I liked the duel power option. It did diesel quite a bit though and I could never understand why a pistol of that pedigree should do that. It was probably one of the reasons I sold it being honest.
However..... As I said, I wouldn’t mind another, not a S Star or B Star but the standard model probably .22 Cal.
Should I bother, do they still diesel ?
Usage would be casual plinking in the garden.
