Are EV2s a good choice for HFT??

I know it’s pedigree from FT shoots but I am thinking of foraging into HFT and looking at some rifles. I like the look of them but they seem quite long. Is it a practical rifle choice for HFT?

Looking for the wisdom of the experienced here as I usually just paper punch or hunt.

    Many thanks in advance.

The EV2 is a fantastic rifle for HFT. There are still plenty to be seen at shoots putting in good scores.

I have had a few over the years and used them on the HFT course.
Wish I still had one as they lend themselves perfectly to shooting prone.

Get a properly fettled EV2 and you can't go wrong - well, you can, but it's not likely to be down to the rifle!
