Compact red dot for 11mm rail ?

Could I have some recommendations for a nice compact red dot that will fit straight on to
an 11mm rail. Just for plinking in the garden.
    Many thanks all.

Ideal garden plinker, I'd avoid the cheap holographic types, they loses zero fast and often have a dot too bright to use, but the high end ones are excellent.

Yes- that's a good one- I use one of those on a Steyr AUG (airsoft- what else were you thinking?)
Others I can recommend but I need to get links for you which I'll post later.

This Hawke one is pretty small.

I had one on a crosman 2250. I don't think they are made anymore though.

    Found it!
I use these on air pistols for certain disciplines-

    173093256740 on the bay

I have at least four and used them for several years with no problem. If you go this route then test the different 'reticules' until you find one you like then spend time to zero using that one. You'll find that altering the reticule afterwards will affect your poa.

There are many sellers of these so search around.

I'm quite impressed with the Hawke Vantage range, a mate asked me to fit and zero one on his HFT pistol, nice and compact (3 different sizes) good adjusters. He came 3rd in the monthly comp on his 1st time using it. Much better quality than the £15 - £20 examples.

Do you know which size your mate bought? The dot on my Bushnell Legend has gone blurry. It may just be that I'm using the wrong glasses but that doesn't stop me researching the alternatives. Of course, the main problem at the moment is availability.....

He got the smallest, 1x20 but is using it close to the eye(pistol rested on elbow) if using at arms length, then maybe the 1x25 would be better?
Nice clear dot and good level of adjustment.

Thanks. I'll add it to the list if I can't sort out the Bushnell.

I have just ordered one pf these for my CP1-M CO2 Air Pistol

search for "1x40 Red Green Dot Optic Sight Scope Airsoft 11/20mm Rail Air rifle Pistol Mount"

It was only £14, it's my first red dot so just trying it out without spending much money

UPDATE: It's crap. cheap Chinese rubbish!

Tempted on one of these, I didnt realise decent ones would be so cheap.

Have to say I was very very unimpressed with this red dot sight. It's probably the worst one I own out of about a dozen or so.
The dot is 'smeared', the adjustments are vague, and there is no reference on the sight to keep it aligned vertically in the mount, you just have to straighten it by eye.
    Good deals with these members
