Only had Rapids, best was a Mk 2 with no issues but as I’ve never had other PCP’s to judge them by I can’t really say but I think it helps if your air rifle is carefully looked after and maintained.
Hoping to join a local club and may consider a left handed AA S400 for targets.
All in all, sometimes you get a good un, sometimes you get a bad un !

If you're looking for a gun that can take a licking and keep on ticking, do a youtube search for Matador R5M Crash Test.

In reality, all unregged PCPs are pretty simple. As long as the air supply is clean they'll keep on going.

Never had any trouble with a MK1 harrier. Sometimes simple is best.

Most pcp's I've had have been reliable, although it could be said I've not kept some of em long enough to find out...

Simplest & most reliable for me though would be the old Falcon FN12/FN19. Bloody brilliant and I wish I'd not sold the FN12's I've had.

Had a mk2 rapid for 10yrs from new, never serviced or any seals changed. Just worked perfectly every time I took it out. I am a rapid fan and they seem so much more reliable than a lot of modern pcps. The fx impact I had was inconsistent, reg issues. Had to get shot of it in the end. Just bought another rapid, gsx 200, picking it up when this virus is over. Also had an air arms s410 that just kept working too. Simpler guns? Probably, but they work.
