It might be handy if you can find a small gunmaker in this country that will do it.

I have an antique rifle. The Gunmaker retired in 1868 and the engraving with his name on has gone a bit feint. I would not mind having it re-done. I might squeeze £50 per side for someone to so it but over that I think it can stay as it is.

If you find someone I would be interested to know and what they charge you.

Ps. I read that you threw some of the bits away. You should always hang to stuff like that you never know when it comes in handy.
