Hello , I’ve a full power hw 77 and I was wondering if anyone has dropped the power to 6 ft for target shooting ,and if so is just a case of fitting a weaker spring .

The lowest I have been able to go in 0.177" while maintaining a 'properly' fast shot-cycle is ca. 8 ft.lb - this was with my HW95 SuperMatch.
If you don't mind a slower shot cycle in your '77, fit a German spec. spring to give you ca. 7.5J (ca. 5.5 ft.lb).

If purchased from the German sellers, they are 6ftlb i believe to fit in with their laws, so shouldn't be a problem. i reduced a couple of rifles, a 99 & 98/95 hybrid down to 7.2ftlb & they shot just fine for 6yd shooting
