Everyone on the list still coming?
Just to let you know a few points.
In line with government practice, we are introducing some bash phrasing to help the public. The "bash bubble" is the group of people you have travelled with. Obviously if you've all sat in the same car for three hours, there really isn't much point in you physically distancing from each other on the bench or around the fire.
If you are able to, please bring your own chair, we have quite a few, but not enough for everyone and sharing chairs is obviously going to be a potential source of cross infection. We will laminate some sheets with a user's name on and stick them to a chair.
We have plenty of hand sanitiser, about fifty quids worth to be exact, but please bring your own disposable gloves and face marks.
Food wise, we will be doing an outdoor breakfast as the only local cafe doing breakfast has pretty limited capacity at the moment. It'll be sausage, bacon and black pudding basically. If you're on a special diet, please let me know. If you require cashew milk, tough titties. We have ordered paper cups and plates by the hundreds and these will be disinfected on the fire at the end of the day.
Similarly, we will be doing burgers and sausages at lunchtime for those that want them. Due to the covid situation, Verity will be the only one handling food or cooking equipment. Because of that, food will be offered for limited times. I'll announce those later.
We will be operating a one way system through the house for hand washing. In through the side and out the back, anyone over five foot three will need to get used to ducking, the back of our house was built some 400 years ago. We've had this house twelve years and I still smash my head into it on occasions.
Unless you have arranged previously, please park on the dogs field and walk the remaining 117 metres to our house. It is unsafe to park outside our house. I will warn the neighbours and the police about odd looking people carrying guns between the two locations. Obviously, any guns should be slipped or cased.
I have arranged with the dog that I will collect all monies for camping. As a reminder, it is ten pounds per tent per night.
Coincidentally, there is live music outside the dog between 1730 and 2000 hrs on the Saturday.
Please be aware that this will be a very busy weekend on the Broads, the pub is currently running at half capacity due to covid. Food service is based on demand and usually finishes between 8 and 830.
Any questions, ask away.
Dave
Smell my cheese
Thanks Dave , To confirm I will definitely be coming,.
