Tony, I managed to get 3.1/2 hours in at my local range (45mins drive away local!) back on Friday. That's the first time out on a range since February, and a most welcome session was had I can assure you, well overdue. I have been shooting down my garden range, but 25mtr isn't quite the same as 65mtr!

I've been able to book the Fridays off from work for both the August and September dates, so count me in for the full weekend - I'm hoping that the August one will be a definite goer!
I should be travelling over and turning up on the Friday, and can bring my own small bench!

    Regards, Clogger

Fantastic news that you finally got to the range.

But even your 25 metres far surpasses my slightly-over 10 yards down the garden.

I think Mick and Dave both have long ones though!

I remember going to the post office and buying the postal order. And I was the first one to arrive so we went to Solware.

Wow! 7 years, eh? Where has that gone?

    Happy belated Birthday Boinger Bash.

I remember it so well. After so many months trying to get something together and you stepped in so magnificently, Mick. A special, pioneering day and a life-changer for me and, no doubt, so many people. As we've said before, I have met so many lovely, genuine people at Quigley Hollow. Platinum standard bestie mates. And so many strong friendships have been forged at The Hollow.

I remember us "pioneering Boingeristi" trying to squeeze under the pre-tunnel gazebo to keep out of the rain. And, try as it might, that rain couldn't dampen our spirits.

So many fantastic memories and so many fantastic people over the years.

    Thank you Mick and Shirl.

And thank you Dave for keeping our candie burning in these troubled times.

Wow, seven years. Where's the time gone? I think I attended the second (or third) bash (the one with the very large bonfire under the telegraph lines - cue some jcb action from Mick). An evening of Cleary juice and the subsequent loss of the power of speech being one of the main memories (after the juice, I felt lucky to remember anything!). But I must say it has proved to be one of the most friendly and relaxed environments I've walked into and this has continued for all of the interim years. A change of venue gives Mick a well earned break and here's to Mr Frame's August bash.
