The first and only Glock I shot was a 10mm Glock 20 in the States a few years ago. I have to say it was the worst pistol I have ever shot. it made the most worn out ex GI 1911 feel like a Gold Cup.

Whilst this, having shot one is the absolute mutts nuts.

    Good comparison Nick.
Given up on replica air pistols tbh, particularly steel bb. If I really need to scratch that itch I'll get a 6mm airsoft; then at least you can get parts and mags for them after the honeymoon period (though Umarex are better for this than most)

The Umarex pellet and bb model is not good.
    The trigger is awful
    .
    Their bb models are fine.
The Gen 3 seems more powerful than the 4.
The 4 is a better replica.
There is also a 5 around.

    Hi Patrick,

Whilst I agree the triggers on the pellet/BB firers are extremely hard to pull when new, they do wear in after around 3-4 CO2 cartridges. Once they do, the pistols are transformed into handy little performers.

I found the pellet firer accurate and harder hitting than the others but the tart within me would have preferred a slide that locks open and cycles fully to the rear. The standard Gen 3 BB firer I bought shoots to point of aim and I love that too. The Gen 4 is the most realistic but does not shoot to anywhere near the point of aim I ended up keeping all three that I bought fr an Airgun World series as I like them all for different reasons.

    Food for thought John.

I have a KWC unbranded bb Glock that works well too.

If you see the bb ISSC M22 its a good buy.
    Performance is slightly scary!

Its like a little Glock with an exposed hammer.

In fact I think Glock sued over the real steel one.

I think 10mm in any pistol is horrible..!!

I love Glocks... back in the day I had a G21 and a G17.... Having owned Brownings and S&Ws, and tried Sigs and CZ's, I found I could hit what I aimed at better with the Glocks, especially the .45 G21.. I used to use that in UKPSA Practical matches.

These days i'm limited to a Co2 SIG P320... I'd be interested to know how the Co2 Glocks compare with that...

I've just taken the Umarex out to the garden for a little plink, this is the first time I've used it. It is a warm day, but the recoil the blow back is damned impressive!

So that's two side by side shooting videos I have to do now

You should try a anics skiff if you really want to feel a crap trigger. On double action id not want to try shooting the entire 28shot mag. So hard i was gonna hire arnie to shot the thing for me.

I tried another club member's Skiff when they were new. I don't think I have ever experienced such a heavy graunchy trigger before or since. I remember urging the owner to return the pistol but I think they're all like that.

I wonder if the Skiff can be worse than the Umarex Desert Eagle, which is the worst trigger i've experienced. You can feel your index finger wanting to blister up after a dozen shots.

And here's a video from the range. It's starting to grow on me, but I still wish it stripped properly
