Who agrees with idea for new RULE on sales - ?

Although I do use photos, I have to use an external site to host them as posting photos here is a right royal PITA.

Where people get into trouble is falling over themselves for a 'bargain' when they could have asked for pictures anyway.

Remember the old days when you used buy things from classified ads in papers?

In sales photo's are piss easy as you add them as attachments direct from "your photo's" on the computer.

Seems a bit "Nanny State" to me. If there are no pics and you're not sure, don't buy it. Pretty simple really

If people can't understand how to up load pics it obviously is a bit broken

A simple fix might be to have an idiot proof, 1 post locked sticky "how to post photo's" rather than the 4 page 55 post open current thread,

With another locked 1 post sticky in sales showing how to attach a sales photo, which I have suggested several times on 'contact us' without response

This has probably run its course now.

Fwiw, I've repeatedly tried posting pics on here using both local and hosted pics and never achieved it. I reckon it could be easier. I also reckon it probably depends on the device you use.

Anyways, we'll let it run til the end of the day and lock it down.

Wading through additional rules could hinder sellers rather than help them, and I'm all for keeping sales as simple and easy to use as possible --- why would anyone want to add complications ?


By way of justifying this --- over the years I've bought over 100 guns and many other items from the sales section with absolutely no problems whatsoever.
