    Scopes for 25yds and under

    Hi All,

Has anyone tried either of these scopes from Primary Arms?

    https://www.optics-trade.eu/uk/primary-arms-6x32.html

    https://www.optics-trade.eu/uk/prima...p-gen-iii.html

Reason I am asking is that I am getting a bit short sighted and looking for a scope for quick acquisition and be able to hit shotgun cartridge size targets at 25 yards to 10 yards
Does anyone have any other ideas as I was thinking of something with a thick reticle like the 6x32 or illuminated dot/reticle that is bright enough for daytime use.

I Like the Bugbuster but not keen on a fully lit up mil dot reticle.

    Thanks.

I would find 6x too much for short range shooting and quick target acquisition. A 3x should be fine and you could either spend much less or get real quality for the prices you note above.

If you could get AO as well to easily set the parralax to your desired range all the better.

Personally in your situation I'd probably look for an "old faithful"
    1.5-5x20 WTC or a Tasco 2-7x32ag

Was going to suggest the bugbuster but yes the fully lit reticle is a bit much. Have you considered a red dot or holographic sight?
    Good deals with these members

Leupold EFR. Focusses down to about 8 yards even at 9x.

What muppet advertises the focal plane of a fixed power scope??
