    Webley hawk Mark 2 what lube

    Hi all
    Just stripped an old mark 2 webley hawk, smashed spring and never used for 30 years.

    I will use vmach grease on the spring, when it arrives
    My question is what lube do I use for the piston rings
    As this does not have a piston seal or leather washer

    If you get some moly powder and mix it with a little of the moly grease to form a thick paste, then smear this on the rings very lightly. You can change these to 'O' rings if you prefer that, might take some trial and error.
