    https://www.jcmilitaria.com/air_weapons_rifles.asp

Presented in 1979 to the Directors of Hull Cartridge. Impressive since the 77k didn't come out till 1983? And £2000!!. Mach 1.5

If I was doing a pre production run and gold plating it I would have used a better serial number.

Im sure JC Militaria had a gold plated HW35E a few years ago. The barrel was as bent as a 9 bob note.
They wanted a fortune for it as well as they do for most things

My mate sold this at a tenth of that price. Not sure what the gold coloured finish is that Weihrauch used.

Think when we looked into it at the time, there was a special order made up for Hull Cartridge for a few in the gold colour finish.

From memory, the three gold plated 77s presented to Hull Cartridge were given before 1985 so if dated at 1993 this gun can't be one of those.

There were Gold plated HW35s produced to celebrate the millionth Weihrauch produced in mid 1983 --- I'm sure BBS member Rickenbacker has one.

Another HW77 that had Gold plating on it was the Northern Arms Gold Sierra, but that only had the back block and under lever plated.

    All the best Mick

Wow; our Phil might have one?

I miss our Phil; it'd be nice if he got the chance to have a look in and let us know he's okay.
