    If beyond repair then bin it otherwise in the draw for a rainy day Then bin it years later I've made one reasonable scope out of two more than once and given it to a starter upperer in the sport

    I've seen tubing from the bodies turned into moderators. My daughter is into crafting with resin and she uses some lenses to make custom magnifying glasses or jewellery. I don't throw much away but what I do , she can sometimes utilise.
