    Benjamin E9A opinions and advice.

I’ve got a Benjamin E9A sat in the cupboard that I rediscovered during a “lockdown clear out”. Are they still regarded as decent pistols to own? This is in really nice condition. It had all the seals replaced a few years ago and I even ran a Co2 bulb through it and 50 or so pellets when I found it!

Still desirable and what sort of money do they go for?

    Cheers.

Good pistols but a lot of shooters are put off by the noise, they are not exactly discreet back garden plinkers.

    Kindest regards

    Noisy, punchy, compact fun.

The grip is a bit too small for most adult men, the trigger is indifferent, the sights are poor, accuracy isn’t bad but not stellar either, and (unlike, say, the Crosman 2240) there are very few aftermarket upgrade parts available.

But the build quality is solid and traditional, and a classic and appealing piece of airgun Americana that is no longer made.

If you can put up with the awful trigger it's not a bad pistol.

you can also swap the sear srping to a compression spring like a crosman which improves it a fair bit

    I like a noisy pistol.
You would be looking at Ł80-Ł100 for a good used one I guess.
