Hopefully you may be able to help!

I have been given an Original 35 without a trigger unit to fix for a friend having been refused by a gun shop!

I managed to get a trigger unit but when I tried to fit it the pin is blocked from sliding through by a spring in the main body. Any ideas ?

Everything else is in place but may have been tinkered with considering the trigger was missing, nothing on you tube seems to explain this issue. The gun breaks but without the trigger unit does not hold the cocking action.

    Ordinal 35

Any idea how the spring should look internally to allow the pin to be fitted to hold the trigger

    Thank you that was helpful.

As suspected the tinkering has included taking it apart putting the trigger guide upside down and losing the 3 bearings.

Waiting for the 3 bearings I oredered today then back together...... hopefully.

I have already stripped the stock of varnish and refinished with 5 coats of boiled linseed oil so far so hopefully it should work and look a lot better.

    Well ..

I have managed to strip down the Original 35 replace the trigger completely as it was missing , Sri’p the stock of varnish and refinish with boiled linseed oil and today it’s fully working and finished. Thanks for advice and where to get info.

Best advice “ grease your balls” .

On the trigger it had 3 ball bearings which I had to replace as missing due to tinkering and would never had got it together without that tip.

Might need to invest in a main spring clamp as that was also tricky.
