    Wow, what a beauty. Really really nice, as are Lawrie's 118's.
    I don't have one yet, will have to start looking for one lol.
    How is the 118 compared to the 400? More shots per fill, different loading system, but just as nice to shoot?

    Question

    I have a Crosman 147 with a similar liney grain but it's lighter in colour, I wonder if it's the same timber but not been stained

    Yes the Crosman is Elm, looks it and a 147 is the time frame. I’ve seen a lot lighter than that.

    My 147 (2nd version with die-cast trigger) has a much lighter coloured stock, almost blonde.
