    The ISP B2

    Evening.
I thought some of the members might appreciate a look of what became of the scrap, barrel less B2 action I left with ISP after I pinched the barrel off it for my Artemis carbine project.
With huge thanks from another Craig (tunnelrat on here), who kindly donated a replacement B2 barrel, the little B2 lives again, with some upgrades:

    Stock was reprofiled and refinished

Breech was shim converted with thick, inset bronze shims:

Some internal work to the guides, piston and cocking shoe before a reblue:

Now putting out nearly 10fpe and shooting very sweetly. Trigger is next for attention but Ivan’s spending that much time enjoying himself shooting it that may take a while...

It’s Ivan’s rifle, lads (Shaun's dad and the ‘I’ in ISP).
He was gutted when we hacked the barrel off my B2 and I slung the remaining action on Shaun's scrap pile, as he’s always liked the B2.
A member on here very kindly sent us a replacement .22 barrel for him to use so he’s just finished rebuilding it. Apparently he’s used it non-stop since. I think he’s done a brilliant job.

That's one very perty looking little rifle, Craig.

Very well done to all concerned.

Now, if you could talk Shaun into making a high-end, super-smoothie springer..

This break barrel is becoming a modern myth, I have just aquired a well known break barrel and will be doing some " minor" modifications over the coming weeks, will put something up when I can get at it 😊
