While it's not a Weihrauch in terms of build quality, I still enjoy my Series 70 and I think it feels higher quality than some of today's budget springers. It's accurate and has stayed pretty reliable in use. Haven't worked out how to remove the back block but it's not urgent so I've not persevered much since my first attempt.

I'm a huge fan of 1950s and 60s Milbro airguns.

As Vic T has pointed out, they were very much aimed at the entry level market and whilst maybe not of the same quality as a Webley or BSA, they were not rubbish either. There were also some innovations such as T shaped arrestor blocks on their scope ramps and an affordable peep sight. The 1960s 3X 'scope was made of solid metal and by contemporary standards very usable. My examples group well and as an example, my G36 and G46 compare favourably with even the humble BSA Meteor.
