    Marksman .22 “ originals “

As 5.6mm pellets go I know the Eley Wasp are the desired choice, but let’s say in their absence how do the old “ original “ Marksmen in .22 fair ? Same as the modern Marksman or better ?

I know they’re not the greatest pellet but they are 5.6mm.

Is it a bit like the old Eley Wasp V it’s now equally hard to find modern Wasp good/not so good ?

You can still get 5.6 marksmen from john knibbs international and they are very good in the older classic tap loaders, they perform very well in classic Bsa's

No stock in knibbs at the moment, I’ve still got about half a box of them left though.

Picked up a under a tenner full box of the original old Marksman to try so just curious if better or worse, maybe no difference.

    Not got them yet.

    Where did you hear that?

The company can trace its routes right the way back to the 1904 Lincoln Jeffries / BSA air rifle and it would be tragic if they were no more.

It's the Wasp factory that burnt down...dunno if Markmen came out out of the same sausage machine.
