(bit of a rip off me thinks considering the complete unit costs £25)

If you are willing to wait - from China:

Says it is compatible with Frankford Arsenal.

I've had a Quinetics kinetic hammer since I started reloading in the 80s... its done me well until last year when I had to dismantle 50 .308s, and the collet gave out...

I looked around for a replacement collet, and found one for £9... but I could buy a whole new hammer on Amazon for £13, so i went with that one.... it lasted for 10 rnds, then the cap shattered...

Luckily, the collets fitted the Quinetics hammer, so thats back in action although the collets are already showing wear...

So its worth paying for quality....

I have the Frankford one. I've not done a huge amount of pulling with it - but it works very well indeed when I do use it. I can't help but thinking it will shatter every time I hit it against a piece of wood - but it doesn't.

I'm wondering though - how do the collets break? I can see needing to replace the rubber gasket which holds it together, but the collets are 3 pieces of what looks like cast aluminium - how do you break that?
