Shaun at ISP has polished and blued three guns for me, all perfect outcomes.

It all depends on whether you want a proper protective finish, or just a pretty cosmetic one...?
Where be your gibes now? Your songs? Your gambols? Miserable bugger!

But I've see pictures of both of the above and they both looked excellent quality, so I guess it's just a matter of looking at both and deciding
    Yeah James .

No suggestion that one is better or worse than the other .

I'll have another go to avoid misinterpretation .....

Isp bluing is quality (and beautiful ).
Paul Chells blacking is beautiful ( and quality ) .

Paul charges £90 for any gun and does all the polishing for you. I've polished mine to 1000 grit and then used a buffing wheel on the parts - still only got 8/10 from Paul for my polishing!

Chemical blacking is different to blueing but gives a lovely tough gloss black finish. He did my Pro Sport and stripped it down to the barrel and shroud - the baffles are plastic and would just dissolve. The benefit of this is that the barrel is also blacked, whereas Air Ams leave it unprotected as it's out of sight....
