Steve Pope said to me once, you need deep pockets to fund your own production rifle. Such a shame he never got to finish his wonder lever. VM3 / VM3R Mach 1.5

Not sure if I've shared this video before, probably not.
Quick and unscientific comparison against a Walther LGV. Both at roughly 11 ft-lb, LGV a bit heavier because it had a scope on. Both held as loosely as possible.

Again, piston masses not tuned properly so some recoil is seen. Next videos will hopefully be version 2 with design tweaks and new pistons.

My interest tickled too, my dream rifle would have been a recoilless Theoben Taunus.

This will accept an off the shelf gas ram (e.g hatsan or BSA), uses a BSA/theoben style detent, and I'm doing one in .20

    Thanks for the kind comments.
I'm desperate to get the new and improved V2 finished so people can try it. Maybe a 2023 boinger bash if all goes well!

    Time for an update!
Recoilless break barrel V2 has been put together. Currently shooting under 6 ft-lb and in a temporary 3D printed stock. Next step is to strip it all down and inspect all the parts. Then rebuild it, sort out the weird vibration, and start power development.
