Does the HW-35 require adjustable scope mounts?

    Am considering a new HW-35E.

I may keep it iron sights but have a nice Japanese Bushnell looking for a dovetail to sit on. Am I likely to need adjustable scope mounts on this gun or is barrel droop on these a thing of the past?

    Thanks.

I think you should be fine with a non-adjustable one.

Personally I'd be using a Sportsmatch one-piece item and go as low as possible taking into account the objective size.

    HOP19c Sportsmatch mount

Hi, I don't know if barrel droop is a thing of the past or not on the HW35 but people used to go for the mount in the title. It's not adjustable but has compensation built in.

Mine's absolutely fine with a standard one piece mount.

Don't be daft, the pellet only travels 6 inches between the barrel and the target, the barrels are that long

Yes I believe that is for 1" tubes and has 20MoA fixed. It is pretty high as it's for objectives up to 56mm.
