    Parts availability

    Afternoon,

I'm a complete newbie as far as air pistols and CO2 are concerned but otherwise competent with air rifles and experienced with maintenance, repair, modding etc. Springers and PCP.

Is it possible to get spares for Sig Sauer M17 ? It has lunched the magazine seal and the thing has an internal leak as well so could do with seals etc.

Every thing I've seen says return for repair, which won't be economic...

    Thanks,
    bmp01

    Probably not.
Sig co2 pistols are not the best.
But to be fair most brands are disposable rather than repairable

    Sig m17 parts

If its out of first year warranty you may as well either strip it your self, or sell it for parts. "its down hill from here on in mildred"

Thanks for confirming what i suspected.
It is in bits already Looks like I'll be making some parts then. All doable, just would have been simpler/quicker to buy parts and reassemble.

Live and learn.... but would have been better to have done my homework first rather than playing catch up now.

    Cheers,

Difficult to get folk to say ' This is rubbish' when asking for a pre buy opinion.

I shot an M17 and thought it was pretty poor.

But many owners like their Sigs.

But as I said above most co2 pistols are difficult to source parts for and repair.

The first range of Umarex pellet firers are the exception to this rule.
Which is why the are still popular.
Even they have their repair ' moments' !
