HW97 Cocking Arm Catch?

Grease or Oil to lubricate the cocking arm catch?

Hi Gaoler,
I wanted to stop the "ting" on mine when you closed or fired it.
It you cut the finger off a rubber kitchen glove put some thick grease into it, tie it over the leaver catch with the air squeezed out.
Give it a good squidge about with the catch pressed in, you get the picture
It doesn't seem like any gets past the catch, but it did work.
Stopped the ting and feels smoother, it's worth a try for 10 mins
I know you can drill the leaver to add grease if it doesn't work
