Yes
No. Almost zero chance of five consecutive shots under a new 5p or an old one.
Honestly haven't shot any springer further than the back door to the pellet trap on my shed in almost 30 years.
Don't even think that I've got any pellets that will be that accurate with my Supertarget and I know for sure that I'd never see a 1/2" target through open sights at 50yds
I'd need practice ...lots ..to hit it once.
That's a shame,on Monday there were a number of people claiming such shots were entirely feasible.....
im afraid i cant
You and me both, and wouldn't bother attempting it.
Although I did hit a desk bell at that range once using a mk11 service.....
We have a 50 yard indoor range at our club and at the far end one of the targets is a home made bell target with a 8mm hole.
Using my precharged 0.177 target rifle rested on a bean bag, on at least 2 occasions I’ve rung the bell 4 times in a row ( and this was witnessed by at least two other members )
Mind you, that’s using a BSA 10-50 x 60 scope set on 20x !
Never managed it 5 times though.

I was a little disappointed by the .25 webley, the makers claimed an effective range of eighty yards

I suppose if running at full legal power, at 80yrds according to chairgun there’s still 7ftlbs left with JSB 25.4gn pellets so if you could hit the ‘target’ in the right place, there’s enough energy to dispatch it ! It would certainly need a fair bit of holdover though
I’ve got a ‘homemade’ .25 and it’s not bad out to 35yrds but beyond that forget it

Ill happily give it a try with my TX at the weekend if the weather is playing the game. It’s no lightweight though.
Put on heading 270, assume attack formation
I have chieved that size group many times with aTX200 MK1 that I had tickled myself.
It was probably more consitent than my custom regged Rapid and my Ripley XL1.
Not had the rifle for several years so I cant do it now, but we used to shoot the plastic coloured heads off drawing pins at the same range.

Outside using a light weight spring piston break barrel.
As suggested by a European shooter on Monday, the post was subsequently deleted.
