Might I suggest an Anglo Spanish break barrel or certain German offerings?

    It’s a yes from me.
First attempt was within the 5p size but I know my rifle will shoot into a tighter group.

I waited for the wind to settle and managed this which is an improvement on the original.

Admittedly no lightweight but it’s sporter’esque...

I posted about this a number of years ago on one or more forums and at a time when I was doing a lot of air rifle and pistol shooting. I was trying out different pellets in a well sorted full size sub-12 ftlbs HW100 in .177. Range was 50m, rifle on front and rear bags, weather was mild temperature and no wind.

JSB Exacts came out on top with a centre to centre group size of 8mm x 13mm for 10 shots, one hole. I was pretty impressed at the time and doubt that I could have done the same with my TX200, although based on 30 yard grouping it might have come close.

Good shooting by those above who've shown their results with springers, respect guys

Sadly not with a springer PCP just about.

And a most excellent performance as way of a return to some good, clean boingery therapy, Craig.

    Well overdue a session myself.

If someone supplies the pellets I’ll happily try all day with any rifle you want.

I think the main point from the OP is 'reliably'....or consistently. I suppose what do you define as 'reliably'? Saying i once did it in 1997 isn't the same as say shooting 10 five shot groups, 7 of those were in the 5p criteria. IMHO i would say if 6 out 10 five shot groups were 5p sized then that is 'reliably'.

Personally, i'm saying no way Jose.

I am quite happy to say that i couldn't even do this with my Steyr.

Have to agree with Chris here - the slightest variations in weather etc from minute to minute will see a whole different outcome with any rifle to be honest.

I think you should amend this to include "standing, unsupported"... and no, I can't..
