    BSA Airsport MK1

    hi guys,

My mk1 needs a new stock and a mk2 stock has become available to me at a good price. Will it fit? Ie are they the same? From the photos they appear to be on face value. Any help would be appreciated.

They could differ with the Mk 1 having a mechanism to open the loading tap.

The MK2 has the same mechanism to self open the loading tap.

I would have thought they would be the same fitting as both have the self opening taps. but someone will be along to tell what is right.

No expert, but 90+% sure it should be a straight swap.

I have a Mk2 in a mk1 stock, straight swap, so it should go the other way around. Not every MK1 I have seen had a three piece, so it will not matter too much to have a Mk2 stock on.
