    .25 BSA Superstar pellet choice.

Please could someone give me an idea of a reasonably light .25 pellet to try in a BSA Superstar Carbine I’ve come across.
I know there are issues with BSA barrels bore size in .25 and just want a tin of pellets to try it out without spending a fortune on pellets. Something on the lighter size which will fit its bore reasonably.
    Thanks
    Dave.

    Hi Dave
I use HN FTT in my Bsa Lightning. 25,I do resize them with a UK Neil sizer.
, Milbro Rhino's will be a good fit, if you can get them.
Send me your home address by pm, and I will send you a selection of what I have in. 25.

Most easy to get & not too bad a fit are Marksman iirc 18.3gn.

Best two, Rhino in the green tin (19gn) are the correct size, but NOT White Rhino in the yellow tin they are full size,
    or
BSA Pylarm, But only the older 18.6gn, NOT the current 21.6gn which again are full size.

I've found H&N trophy's are good in BSA .25 springers but theirs nothing wrong with the .25 marksman they are good in .25 both accurate and give a good velocity in sub 12ftb springers they are also a good price.

Thanks guys now on the hunt as Marksman say they are out of production at the moment.
I think K Knibbs might have some.
Shame I can’t get to Kempton next weekend.
    Cheers

Stacks on the bay if our site sponsor, JSR, doesn't have them.

I've noticed no ones suggested .25 JSB or AA pellets, I use them in my .25 Lightning barrel and it seems to like them a lot.

Because they are "full size" .25 (6.35mm) pellets,
older, pre 2010(?) BSA .25 rifles had .243 barrels & require smaller 6.2mm pellets

I did wonder, wasn't sure what size they had, now I know.
